Customer Service Manager - South Deerfield

We are seeking someone with a proven track record in providing excellent customer service in a call center environment to lead and manage our customer service/sales support team.

Major responsibilities include:    

  • Provide oversight and management to the customer service/sales support team to maximize team performance and productivity

  • Model excellent customer service, time management and problem resolution for customer calls

  • Demonstrate excellent upselling techniques and coach team members on upselling

  • Work with Sales team to support promotions and sales/marketing initiatives for wholesale accounts, estheticians, web and direct consumers

  • Oversee order processing for orders received via phone, e-mail, fax, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and ensure timely and accurate completion of all orders

  • Take the lead on fully integrating and maximizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software’s capabilities to support relationships with our customers

  • Work closely with ITS Department to assess technology needs and implement system enhancements to automate order processing

  • Assess departmental workflow and determine best processes for order processing and managing customer phone queue

  • Assess staff training needs and arrange for appropriate training

  • Assist with order processing and customer calls during high volume times and/or when not fully staffed


  • Bachelors degree in relevant field and 5-7 years customer service call center management experience in a retail or wholesale setting (preferably in skin care, cosmetics, or personal care) or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing staff

  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Proficient with relational databases, prior experience with DynamicsGP a plus

  • Prior experience with CRM a plus

Sales & Education Manager - San Francisco Metropolitan Region

We are seeking a dynamic, warm, engaging Sales & Education Manager to generate and develop retail sales and brand awareness in the San Francisco metropolitan region.   • Achieve and exceed retail sales plan within identified region

  • Identify top line stores and leverage resources to maximize sales using the 80/20 rule

  • Deliver education and events that drive and leverage the Dr. Hauschka brand story, skin care and make-up

  • Develop, maintain and manage key relationships with each door that will further support brand awareness, education initiatives and sales achievement

  • Plan and coordinate all market events in partnership with the Education & Esthetics Director, Account Managers, and Sales Leads

  • Establish priority call cycle that drives sales, education, and brand awareness across all channels

  • Establish consistent and open communication with all levels of store management to become known as “the best brand partner”

  • Communicate with accounts and internal teams regarding specific account issues that are supported by recommendations and solutions

  • Conduct monthly/quarterly business review with stakeholders to maximize sell thru, store specific education needs, and event opportunities

  • Provide brand launch training and on-going training to in-store sales teams

  • Plan, coordinate and execute strategic store events to further support retail sales achievement and brand awareness within the marketplace

  • Communicate successes and opportunities both internally and externally

  • Utilize and maximize all allocated marketing resources and promotional programs to support your efforts and drive retail sales

  • Maintain brand image while reflecting and supporting the dress code expectations within each retail partner

  • Manage monthly travel budget and submit timely expense reports


  • BA in relevant field and a minimum of 3-5 years experience with sales and education in a health or beauty retail environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Training as an esthetician or cosmetologist

  • Knowledge of the US holistic health and beauty products markets

  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with PowerPoint presentation design and public delivery
  • Proficiency with Webinar technology desirable
